
Join us for a night of free, family-friendly fun at Kick Off to Summer, happening Thursday, May 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Community Park! Hosted in partnership with the Village of Carol Stream, Carol Stream Public Library, Outreach Community Center, and other local organizations, this exciting evening is packed with games, giveaways, and entertainment for all ages.
Event Highlights include:
- Touch-A-Truck – Explore 7–10 vehicles, including a fire truck, dump truck, skid steer, and more!
- Free hot dogs off the grill, plus chips and water – available while supplies last
- Games and activities – Try your hand at bags, play bingo for prizes, and enjoy activities from our community partners
- Inflatables – Tackle an obstacle course inflatable and a bounce house provided by Outreach
- Petting zoo – Courtesy of the Carol Stream Public Library
- Police Ice Cream Cart – Enjoy a sweet treat, courtesy of the Carol Stream Police Department
- Sports demos – Get moving with futsal, soccer, and volleyball skills stations led by park district staff
- Live DJ – Music to keep the energy high
- Raffle prizes – Win Coral Cove Water Park and Coyote Crossing Mini Golf passes, or gift cards to local restaurants and stores
