Dear Carol Stream Park District Members and Customers:
As we social distance ourselves and follow the Governor’s STAY AT HOME Order, I do hope you are finding ways to stay healthy, both physically and mentally. With the weather improving, I encourage you to take a walk, ride your bike, get fresh air.
I want to share with you a statement from the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) that supports the safe use of parks during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Read Statement
The Carol Stream Park District supports this statement, and we encourage you to use our open spaces to maintain your physical and mental health. However, a few rules apply per the Governor’s proclamation in response to this ongoing situation and the STAY AT HOME Order:
PARKS
Our parks will remain open at this time, including the Bark Park. If you visit one of our parks, you must follow the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations of practicing safe social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance from others and staying home if you are sick. Note that park restrooms are not open at this time. Parks staff continue to pick up garbage on Mondays and Fridays.
PLAYGROUNDS ARE CLOSED
All playgrounds are CLOSED until further notice as directed by the State of Illinois.

NO PHONES UNTIL APRIL 8
