UPDATE 3/13/20 – Your Park District & COVID-19

The Carol Stream Park District first wants to assure you that there are no known COVID-19 cases in the district. Along with our school districts and other local agencies, we are proactively taking measures to help to reduce the spread of illness throughout our community.
We are canceling the following programs and events:
- Dodgeball Remainder of the season
- Forever Young San Antonio Overnight Trip
- Swim Team Pasta Dinner – March 13
- Youth Basketball playoffs – March 14-15
- Preschool Fun Fair – March 14
- GSL Softball Tournament – March 14
- Swim Conference Meet – March 14
- Baseball/Softball Meet and Greet – March 15
- Swim Team end of season party – March 15
- Soccer Meet and Greet – March 19
- Frozen Theatre Performances – March 21 – 22
- Forever Young Trips through March 30
- Bunny Bash – April 11
All other programs, events, fitness and facility operations will continue for now. We do ask that you take our recommendations to heart and also help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Limit visitors/parents to one. If you need to accompany your child to a class, leave the rest of the family at home if you can do so.
- If you or your child is sick or feeling unwell, please stay home.
- Your child should wash his/her hands before and after classes, games, etc.
- Send a water bottle with your child or for yourself.
As the situation remains fluid we will continue to closely monitor the recommendations of the IDPH or CDC. We will provide updated communication on any further decisions on cancellations. Thank you for your cooperation.
