Clothing

• Official swimsuits required.
• No swimsuit, no swimming.

Hygiene

• Showering before entering the pool is encouraged.

Shoes

• Only clean footwear allowed in the pool area.

• Children under 9 accompanied by an adult (16+).
• Parent/guardians supervise your children.
• Children unable to swim must be within arms reach of their parent/guardian at all times.

Diapers

• No diaper changing on the pool deck. Changing stations are available in the restrooms.
• Children, not toilet trained must wear tightly fitting rubber or plastic pants.

• No running.
• No swimming alone.
• No rough or boisterous play.
• No prolonged underwater breath-holding.
• No spitting or nose blowing in the pool.
• Use caution when using the diving board.
• No persons under the influence of alcohol or unlawful substances.
• Smoking is prohibited on Carol Stream Park District property, indoors and outdoors. VIEW FULL TOBACCO FREE POLICY

• No flotation objects.
• No mermaid tails and monofins.
• US Coast Guard Approved Life Vest/Personal Floatation Device (PFD) Allowed
• PFDs are Available for Use on a First Come, First Serve Basis

Lap Swim Member may borrow:

• Kickboard
• Buoys

Fountain View Fitness Members may borrow:

• Kickboard
• Buoys
• Group Fitness Equipment. Use fitness equipment during group fitness classes only.

• No outside food or drink, except for plastic water bottles and baby formula.
• No glass.

• Our staff is fully trained and equipped to handle any first aid emergency, ask a lifeguard or manager for assistance.
  
• No persons with an infectious disease transmitted through the water.
• No open wounds.
• No bandages or medical tape.
• Erratic behavior.
• The Carol Stream Park District does not provide individual health and accident insurance.

• Carol Stream Park District is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• No soap in pool or on deck.
• Strollers or wheelchairs are allowed on deck.
• No spraying objects.
• No hard-throwing objects.

• No cell phone use. Inform the pool staff if you wish to take photos or videos.
• No food or drink.
• Parents, guardians, or chaperones are responsible for supervising their children.
• Lifeguards are on duty to enforce rules and respond in case of an emergency.
